For our Advanced Marketing Management course in late 2023, my assigned team was tasked with researching a company and its brand(s), and determining the next step for their growth. My group proposed a study of the On brand.

We researched their public financial information and saw that in the past couple of years, the company had seen incredible growth for their primary athletic shoe line. We identified that a weakness of the company was their product portfolio, as their current all-sneaker lineup could make On vulnerable to a change in consumer preference, or likely to represent a different brand's leisure shoe when they're off the field.

To keep the company's growth moving in the right direction, my team suggested, designed, and proposed a product line expansion for On that allows athletes and other consumers to represent the brand "on" and off the field. By conducting market research and anticipating future lifestyle market trends in the retail industry, we determined that Slide On was the answer to securing On's continued success.
